Objectives
This conference will:
Provide participants with an overview to the worldwide FSMA research from magnetomechanics to more recently discovered properties and phenomena including thin films and micro-systems, composites and constructs (including foams and mats), and caloric effects (including magnetocaloric and barocaloric effects).
Put emphasis on introducing the most current research, and enabling conversation.
Promote research on fundamental and applied aspects of FSMAs to advance use of this multifunctional material between potential academic and industry partners.
Use modeling and simulation from atomic to microscale to address theory, structure, and magnetism.
